Think about those times in your life when you have felt inspired to something really great. Where does that inspiration come from?
The Holy Spirit. God inspires us to do great things with our lives.

Five Minute Friday: Lazy

Five Minute Friday is a weekly link-up hosted by Kate. She provides a word, I set a timer, and write for 5 minutes. No editing, no deep thinking...just spur of the moment, whatever pops in my head writing. This week's prompt: LAZY

One of the bad things about being on my own, with no accountability, is that I get lazy. I would much prefer to sit around and read a book. Especially now that it's a bit warmer, sitting on my back porch is a favorite pastime. You may think that this isn't being lazy,  because I'm doing something. If you took a look at my house and lack of housework, you'd know what I'm talking about!

One of the good things about being on my own, with no accountability, is that my house doesn't get that messy; not nearly as messy as it did when I had 3 boys in the house. And then, after they "flew the coop", there was my husband who seemed to think that the housekeeping fairy would be along to pick up his dirty clothes (even though they were right beside his hamper!).

It is a little sad being in the house by myself, although one of my sons is living on a different floor. But it allows me to be lazy if I feel like it and not worry about how my house looks. And I'm reading a ton of good books! 😉
